Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a dedicated Pre-Cast Laborer for our Troy, NC block plant. You will perform a range of physically demanding tasks to keep operations clean and efficient, including shoveling, sweeping, painting, lifting, and material handling.

The role supports production and maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, capable of teamwork, and willing to work in varying weather conditions with adherence to safety guidelines and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the daily production plan.
• Clean and maintain the production bed.
• Install rebar and strand.
• Pour and finish concrete.
• Maintain and improve housekeeping for a safe, productive workspace.
• Complete daily preventive maintenance tasks, including tool upkeep.
• Support SOP development to optimize labor and material use.
• Support cross-training of employees.
• Produce and promote Quality at the Source.
• Be responsible for tools and machinery in your area.

Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Pre-Cast Laborer at our Troy, NC block plant. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of our block operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that aid in the maintenance and operation of the plant. Duties will include but are not limited to shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, lifting, pushing, and pulling various objects.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the daily production plan


• Clean and maintains production bed


• Install rebar and strand


• Pour and finishes concrete


• Maintain and improve housekeeping to ensure a safe and productive workplace on an hour by hour, day by day basis


• Complete daily preventive maintenance tasks as assigned, including tool maintenance


• Support development & execution of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the most efficient use of labor and materials on the line


• Support cross-training of employees


• Produce & promote Quality at the Source


• Responsible for tools and machinery in your area

What Sets You Apart
