Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix, a SRM Concrete family company, is seeking motivated Yard Team Members to help keep our block plant running smoothly and safely. You will operate block-making equipment, perform routine maintenance, ensure quality, and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.

Home daily with overtime after 8 hours and weekly opportunities for bonuses and raises. We offer a strong benefits package and a growth-focused culture across our growing network.

Qualifications

• Team player with good communication and a strong work ethic.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willing to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate block-making machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform daily cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of the block machine.
• Communicate equipment issues and repair needs promptly to the Plant Manager.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and general plant repairs as needed.
• Operate rolling and support equipment when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in end-of-shift plant cleanup activities.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Operate block‑making machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards
