Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a General Laborer for our Saint Paris, OH block operations. You will safely operate a forklift, perform safety checks, and keep the yard organized to support safety, efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Block Plant Operator.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
• Understanding of industry safety standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform minor repairs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of physical fitness.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move materials in the block plant.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Coordinate with site management to move materials per project specs.
• Adjust equipment settings to meet project requirements.
• Identify maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Participate in ongoing safety trainings.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely project completion.
• Welding experience is a plus.
