Job summary

ODC Construction, LLC is seeking a Block Laborer to assist in constructing and installing block walls on various construction sites. The candidate should be physically fit, dependable, and eager to learn masonry and construction processes.

As a Block Laborer, you will work with experienced crew members to ensure timely, safe completion of projects, outdoors across field sites in Florida. Reports to the Director of Construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction and installation of block walls, including mortar mixing and laying blocks.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to/from job sites.
• Set up and clean up work areas for safe, organized sites.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of blocks, mortar, and tools.
• Assist in measuring and marking areas for precise placement.
• Follow directions from Block Crew Leader and supervisory staff.
• Operate and maintain basic construction equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with crew to maintain steady workflow and safety.
