Job summary

Seastate Land Services Company is seeking an experienced Residential Block Mason to support large-scale residential construction projects across the Tampa and Sarasota markets. The role requires laying concrete block foundations and structural masonry while maintaining production schedules and quality.

Candidates should have hands-on block masonry experience and be able to work in outdoor conditions in Florida.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential block masonry experience.
• Experience in production homebuilding environments.
• Ability to work 50–60 hours per week, including weekends.
• Physically able to perform labor-intensive outdoor work.
• Reliable transportation to on-site locations.
• No formal education or certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lay concrete blocks for foundations and walls according to plans.
• Read and follow job plans, layouts, and grade requirements.
• Mix, pour, and apply mortar per specifications.
• Install reinforcement (rebar, anchors) as required.
• Ensure block is level, plumb, and aligned to project standards.
• Work safely and efficiently in production homebuilding environments.
• Coordinate with crew, supervisors, and other trades to meet schedules.

Job Overview

Seastate Land Services Company is seeking experienced Residential Block Mason to support large-scale residential construction projects throughout the Tampa and Sarasota, Florida markets. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in production homebuilding who can step onto a jobsite and contribute immediately with minimal training. Block Masons will be responsible for laying concrete block foundations and structural masonry components while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable transportation to on-site job locations

No formal education, licenses, or certifications required

$24–$28 per hour, based on experience
