Job summary

INW: Innovations in Nutrition + Wellness is hiring a Blending Technician I to join our Benicia-based team. You will blend raw materials per batch records, log lot numbers, and ensure quality and safety following GMP and HAACP guidelines.

The role requires hands-on use of WMS systems, batch sheets, and standard warehouse equipment. You will participate in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with the supervisor, and help maintain a clean, safe facility while meeting production schedules and

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld devices is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Solid math skills for unit conversions and quantities.

Responsibilities

• Blend raw material products according to production batch records.
• Use batch sheets and follow mixing instructions; log lot numbers and quantities.
• Follow GMP and HAACP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Complete batch sheets per GDPs.
• Follow SOPs/Forms and maintain general housekeeping.
• Maintain a safe working environment per company/state regulations.
• Operate standard warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklift, pallet wrapper).
• Be a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour Shift Differential

Schedule Hours: 1:45pm to 10:15pm, Monday through Friday

Position Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RedZone Operations Software and handheld devices (RF) a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to read and write in English.
• Solid math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA requirements and safety standards for operating material handling.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Able to walk and stand on a constant basis (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis (3 to 6 hours per shift).
• Able to sit, squat, stoop, climb, kneel, and crawl on an occasional basis (up to 3 hours per shift).
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
