Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings in Texas is seeking a Blender Operator to manage blending and regrind operations, ensuring consistent material supply for extruders. You will set mixers, weigh ingredients, and maintain records while keeping areas clean and safe on a fast-paced production line.

The position offers starting wage of $22.00 per hour, day shifts, and full benefits from day one. Applicants must be able to operate forklifts and climb silos as needed.

Qualifications

• License to operate forklift and LOTO authorized with fall protection.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; good communication with operators and leadership.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math with money, weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Blend and regrind operations, ensure proper materials for extrusion.
• Set mixers and adjust for consistent blends; maintain batch records.
• Perform daily inspections and maintain safety and cleanliness in blend areas and silos.
• Operate forklift to transport materials and load/unload as needed.
• Complete reports, paperwork, and coordinate with maintenance for equipment repairs.
• Support month-end inventory and keep accurate records.
• Follow all safety rules and wear PPE; assist in other duties as assigned by Blending Leader.
