Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a production operator to operate mixers and manage blending materials for extrusion processes at our Texas facility. The role requires attention to detail, ability to read labels, and basic maintenance to ensure quality and safety in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set the mixer system to properly produce compound needed for production.
• Recognize all ingredients and materials by the labels on the super sacs.
• Verify Stabilizer weights.
• Perform minor maintenance to ensure consistent quality blends, safe operation and optimum output.
• Complete all reports and paperwork; reconcile blending vs SAP entries.
• Transport loads of materials with forklift; unload resin from railcars.
• Keep area clean, safe and organized; assist in daily plant production.
