Job summary

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly in a 10-hour shift.
• Must be able to climb stairs repeatedly and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsibilities with food safety, legal and quality requirements to ensure product safety.
• Comply with EHS and quality procedures and standards.
• Act responsibly for own actions and work safely to protect people and environment.
• Perform duties without risk to self, others or the environment.
• Adhere to environmental standards and work instructions consistently.
• Report incidents, defects, hazards, and procedure inadequacies for corrective action.
• Suggest improvements and participate in overall system improvements for safe, reliable, cost-effective operations.
• Fully participate in the safety program including training, auditing and reporting.
• Meet housekeeping/GMP standards and food safety protocols.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished product packaging.
• Monitor output quality and discard or rework faulty products as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
