Incumbents in this role are responsible for all aspects of the production process from gathering raw materials to sifting, packing, and shipping of final products.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESCarrying out responsibilities/duties according to food safety, legal and quality requirements to ensure that our products are fit for human consumption.Compliance with procedures that implement the requirements of the EHS policies and procedures.Being responsible for own actionsCarrying out work in a manner which does not present a risk to themselves, others, and the environment.Comply with all environmental standards, procedures, and work instructions always.Report any environmental violations, near misses or unsafe acts to prevent any impact upon the local environment, its inhabitants and Tate & Lyle.Reporting all incidents, defects, hazards, and inadequacies of procedures so that appropriate review and corrective action can be taken.Suggesting improvements and being active in the general improvement of all systems and methods of work to ensure EHSQS Support's activities and services are carried out in a safe, environmentally responsible, reliable and cost-effective manner.Fully participate in the safety program, including reporting any incidents or near misses, training, auditing, etc.Meeting and exceeding clear housekeeping/GMP standards and food safety protocols.Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished product packaging.Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.Other duties as assigned.EHS AUTHORITY INDEX (AI 2, 3)Protecting our people and the environment is foundational to our business.Each team member is expected to support the Tate & Lyle culture where Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) are the overriding values in all activities.
