Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a reliable blending operator to efficiently discharge product from blenders, assist with changeovers, and ensure accurate weighing and labeling.

The role requires adherence to GMPs, safety rules, and documentation of weight, time, and batch information; overtime and weekend shifts may be required. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, maintain sanitary conditions, and collaborate with the blending team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Math skills to compute weight, time, quantities and percentages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Manually discharge product from blenders into storage containers.
• Assist blending operators with product changeovers and loading of blender.
• Weigh containers and adjust quantities to match specifications.
• Verify order accuracy against BOM and record weights, times, and codes.
• Inspect containers for proper packaging, coding and labeling.
• Maintain a sanitary and orderly work area; follow safety procedures.
• End-of-line duties include replenishing supplies and performing metal detector verifications.
• Report safety concerns to Team Leader and coordinate downtime with supervisors.
• Attend shifts as scheduled; overtime and weekend work may be required.
