Job summary

Nestlé Health Science seeks a Manufacturing Operator in a 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM) to operate machinery in a production environment. You will ensure product quality and quantity by following SOPs and GMPs.

Requirements include 0-2 years in a factory setting, a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and English literacy. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods, with pay between $20.80 and $21.30 per hour and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a factory environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to speak, read, write in English and comprehend simple instructions.
• Physical ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs., stand, climb, bend.

Responsibilities

• Match labels with batch records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Troubleshoot basic machine faults and perform routine maintenance as per operator's manuals.
• Load, unload, set-up, clean, adjust and disassemble machinery.
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation using paper records, PCs, and iPads.
• Report damaged or inconsistent materials to the supervisor or lead.
• Assist with overflow jobs in the operations department when needed.
• Follow safety SOPs and cGMP requirements; maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Adhere to Nestlé’s Life Saving Rules and attendance expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
