Job summary

Custom Culinary, a Griffith Foods subsidiary, is hiring a Mixing Operator to join the Production Team in Avon, OH. The role supports safe operation of mixing equipment, material counts, PLC-based discharges, and strict GMP/QA adherence.

Responsibilities include daily scheduling, cleaning, and material handling, with overtime potential. Requires English fluency, ability to lift 60 lbs, and onsite work in Avon.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds throughout the shift.
• Read, write and speak English fluently with the ability to follow instructions.
• Perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or RedZone ERP.
• Willing to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed.
• Onsite role in Avon, OH.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment.
• Verify and ensure accurate counts of raw materials.
• Discharge blended product from the blender using PLC touchscreen kettles and prescribed screen size.
• Discharge blended product using the prescribed screen size.
• Follow customer sampling requirements of blended product.
• Fill out daily schedule control documenting production, quality, and performance.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and tools and work area.
• Dispose of trash and garbage containers.
• Lift up to 60 lbs regularly during the shift.
