Job summary

New Weds Foods in Springdale, AR is seeking a packaging associate to support production goals on the packaging lines. The role requires standing at the line, verifying ingredients and batches, dumping product into the hopper, and ensuring packaging standards.

We offer two shifts: 1st Shift 7am-3pm and 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm, with medical, 401K, paid holidays, and other benefits listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year packaging experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate packaging equipment, including scale and label printer.

Responsibilities

• Verify ingredients being dumped.
• Verify batch with Supervisor as needed.
• Dump blended ingredients or products into Hopper as per job order.
• Frequent pushing / pulling of drums weighing over 100 lbs.
• Assist in stacking at the end of the line; load boxes/bags onto a pallet; lift 25–55 lbs continuously.
• Assist in bagging of product; push/pull up to 55+ lbs; maintain packaging standards.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Maintain integrity of product.
• Assist in inventory and cycle counts.
• Keep area and equipment clean; follow LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Essential Functions:
