Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Jasper, TN, is seeking a Production Associate 1 to join our blend department on the day shift, with potential night coverage for training or vacation support. You will operate and monitor the computerized blending network, load materials, manage railcars, and ensure accurate weights and safe operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated 90 days proficiency in a computer automated environment.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math; able to operate Blender 1.

Responsibilities

• Load and blend raw materials into compounds using the blend network.
• Ensure correct weight and balance of blended materials.
• Monitor the computerized blending network and adjust for consistency.
• Move railcars for unloading and manage related paperwork.
• Record shift totals into BPCS and blend production spreadsheets.
• Stage and stock micro-ingredients; restock totes before end of shift.
• Operate forklift and perform safety inspections.
• Assist maintenance and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
