Job summary

Henkel in the United States is seeking a Processing Technician for the 1st shift (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM). You’ll batch soaps and detergents, operate equipment, and ensure accurate data entry and GMP adherence.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in manufacturing, basic math and computer skills, and forklift experience. SAP familiarity is a plus; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work 1st shift and overtime on weekends.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic to intermediate math and computer skills (Microsoft Office and e-mail); SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Batch soaps and detergent products on 1st shift; operate equipment and rotate tasks.
• Receive/handle chemical materials and move materials with a forklift.
• Complete written documentation and enter data into computer; communicate with packaging lines and support teams.
• Follow GMPs and SOPs; perform 5S and continuous improvement activities.

What you´ll do

• Processing Technicians are responsible for batching soaps and detergent products to supply our packaging lines using automated and manual systems. The open position is available on 1st shift (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM).
• Operate equipment to perform batching tasks and rotate to different assignment areas as required; Receive/handle chemical raw materials and operate a forklift to move raw materials
• Complete written documentation and enter data into computer; Communicate regularly with packaging lines and other support teams
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures; Perform 5S and continuous improvement activities

What makes you a good fit

• Minimum of 1 year of current or recent experience in a manufacturing environment is required; previous work experience with batching processes is preferred
• Availability to work 1st shift (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM) schedule as well as weekend overtime shifts
• High school diploma or GED required
• Basic to intermediate math and computer skills (Microsoft Office and e-mail; SAP experience considered a plus)
• Focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• General mechanical aptitude
• Previous forklift operation and team-based work experience preferred

Thehourly pay range for this role is $21.10. This range reflects thegood‑faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects tooffer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classifiedas non‑exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance withfederal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees inthis position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, orother forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company alsooffers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensationwill depend on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, training,certifications, and work location.
