Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking an operator for a 6am-6:30pm shift on a 2-2-3 rotation in our Beloit, Wisconsin dairy facility. The role involves loading ingredients into blenders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring clean, safe workspaces in alignment with 5S standards.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a food manufacturing environment, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Certification in forklift, pallet jack, and LOTO is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to complete and pass required Wonderlic test.

Responsibilities

  • Verify label information and load ingredients into the blender following batch records.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, parts, tools, and work area to ensure good housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Maintain separation of materials and equipment by food allergens.
  • Meet production needs and goals while minimizing shrink and downtime.
  • Troubleshoot blending equipment; contact maintenance as needed.
  • Complete batch entry logs and related paperwork accurately and timely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify label information and load ingredient into the blender in the order specified in the batch record.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, parts, tools, utensils and work area ensuring good housekeeping and 5S standards are met.
  • Maintain appropriate separation of materials and equipment by food allergens.
  • Consistently meet production needs and goals while making efforts to minimize product shrink and downtime.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of all blending equipment and processes; contacting Maintenance as needed.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and transactions in a timely manner including batch entry logs, cleaning forms, room logs, work orders, etc.
  • Identify Critical Control Points (CCP).
  • Actively participates in shift exchanges and work team meetings.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • This position requires the ability to work with dairy and nut products in addition to other related ingredients and allergens.

  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
Certification / Licensure Required
  • Ability to be forklift and pallet jack certified
  • Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to complete and pass required Wonderlic test
