Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Blender Operator to load materials and blend products to customer specifications in a production setting. The role involves coordinating with the warehouse to obtain materials, weighing components, and ensuring traceability on batch sheets.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, recording data on forms, and reporting any food safety or quality issues. The position requires adherence to safety policies and teamwork in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
  • Starting Pay: Blender Level I $19.75/hr., a shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.

  • Completes various forms to record data.

Job Summary

Loads Blender with weighed material and blends product to customer specifications.

Job Duties
  • Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

Work Environment
  • Work is primarily done in a production setting.
  • Frequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, fork lifts, and fluctuations in temperature.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, climb stairs on a frequent basis
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Follow all current and future safety policies, at all times.
  • Participate in all safety training and pass written exams.
  • Wear safety glasses, hair net, ear protection and smock at all times in the production/warehouse area of the plant.
  • Report all accidents/incidents immediately to the proper person.
  • Provide post-accident drug screen.
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • In terms of a 12-hour workday, “Occasionally” equals 1% to 33%, “Frequently” equals 34% to 66%, and Continuously” equals 67% to 100% of the time. In a 12-hour workday the job holder should be able to:
  • Continuously stand and walk.
  • Occasionally bend/stoop, squat, twist, push/pull, kneel and crouch.
  • Occasionally reach above shoulder level.
  • Occasionally climb to a height of approximately ten (10) feet.
  • Occasionally carry/lift up to sixty (60) pounds.
  • Occasionally use his/her legs, arms, and shoulders to push/pull items.
  • Occasionally use his/her head and neck in flexing and rotating.
  • Continuously be around moving machinery.
  • Occasionally operate a forklift and/or powered pallet jack.
  • Continuously be in factory and/or warehouse working conditions.
  • Frequently be in dusty conditions and be exposed to cleaning solvents & lubricants.
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Starting Pay: Blender Level I $19.75/hr., a shift differential is offered for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
