TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Tea Blender to support production operations at our Marietta, GA facility. This full-time role involves receiving, blending, and processing raw tea, ensuring accurate blends and safe handling for production lines.

The position requires 1-2 years in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, forklift experience, and the ability to stand long shifts while maintaining quality and paperwork accuracy. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • 1-2 years of forklift operating experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and daily production demands.
  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours per shift and routinely lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists to run bag-slitting equipment and blend tea for production lines.
  • Check and complete tea blend paperwork to verify accuracy of all blend components.
  • Repair and tape damaged tea bags to minimize product loss.
  • Manually dump tea as required to support production needs.
  • Operate both North and South tea blending systems according to established procedures.
  • Move tea hoppers to the appropriate production lines and verify correct blend placement.
  • Complete rework activities as needed.
  • Assist in Blending, Warehouse, and Production areas as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all company policies and procedures.

About the Role

The Tea Blender is responsible for all activities related to receiving, blending, and processing raw tea to support production operations. This role ensures accurate blending, material handling, and product movement while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists to run bag-slitting equipment and blend tea for production lines.
  • Check and complete tea blend paperwork to verify accuracy of all blend components.
  • Repair and tape damaged tea bags to minimize product loss.
  • Manually dump tea as required to support production needs.
  • Operate both North and South tea blending systems according to established procedures.

Important Details
  • This is a full-time permanent role supporting tea blending and receiving operations.
  • Work is performed in both the blending department and tea receiving warehouse.
  • Daily use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including company uniforms, hearing protection, and eye protection, is required.
  • Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions, including noise, heat, cold, and humidity associated with manufacturing and warehouse operations.
  • Overtime may be required based on production needs.
