Formación

• Experience with hand tools and power tools for blending operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).

Responsabilidades

• Perform blending, smoothing, and contouring of aerospace components.
• Review blueprints and work orders to determine blending requirements.
• Identify and correct defects on surfaces.
• Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify tolerances and ensure proper part dimensions.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted.
• Perform minor assembly and disassembly of engine components according to standard practice manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY: The Blend Technician II is responsible for performing intermediate to advanced blending operations on aerospace components to meet quality standards and customer specifications. This position involves working with precision equipment and tools to ensure smooth surfaces, removal of defects, and restoration of parts to their original specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform blending, smoothing, and contouring of aerospace components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine blending requirements and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Identify and correct defects such as dents, scratches, or gouges on surfaces.
• Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify tolerances and ensure proper part dimensions.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted.
• Perform minor assembly and disassembly of engine components according to standard practice manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
