Job summary

Hutco, Inc. is seeking a blaster/painter in Mississippi to perform blasting and painting with marine coatings as required by contract. You will operate blasting equipment, follow blast profiles, and apply coatings according to specified procedures.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, the ability to identify and fix deficiencies, and the capability to demonstrate blast equipment usage. A drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a blaster/painter.
• Must perform blast requirements and functions using all applications.
• Must identify and correct blast/paint deficiencies per contract specs.
• Must sand blast and demonstrate how to utilize each blast equipment part.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform blasting and painting using marine coating in accordance with contract requirements.
• Test by hooking airlines to the manifold and spraying horizontal, vertical and side to side.
• Ensure blasting and painting quality and compliance with specs.

Job description

Rate of Pay:

$34.00 per hour and $147 per-diem for those who qualify

Description:

Painters have the responsibility to perform blasting and painting utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements. Understanding of blasting and painting specifications, including but not limited to blast profiles, milage requirements, ect. Perform blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision. Testing will consist of the ability to hook airlines to the manifold and spray horizontal, vertical and side to side.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a blaster/painter
• Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications.
• Must be able to identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications.
• Must be able to sand blast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.
• Must be pass drug screen (HFT) and background check.
