Qualifications

• Must meet all state and federal explosive laws and qualify as an ATF explosive possessor.
• Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work at an active mining site and respond to safety needs.

Responsibilities

• Review drill patterns and layouts to meet customer needs.
• Communicate blast details with all personnel on site.
• Prepare and detonate shots safely and effectively.
• Conduct pre/post Shot Safety Audits per policy.
• Ensure crew compliance with customer procedures.
• Coordinate handling of customer issues and site incidents.
• Maintain regular contact with sales and Location Manager.
• Keep a safe work environment and comply with regulations.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and complete required paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
