Legacy Turkey in Melrose, MN, is hiring for a full-time Blast Freeze Driver - 1st Shift. The role involves loading/unloading blast freezers, rotating racks at -40 degrees, and keeping the freezer area organized. You will operate production machinery, use scanning guns, and follow all safety procedures.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with weekends as needed, 7:00 am–4:30 pm. Overtime and physical stamina are required; lift up to 50 pounds and work in cold conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation required.
• Able to work in subzero temperatures (-40°F).
• Able to read labels in English and distinguish numbers.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and physical stamina.
• Overtime work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload blast freezers.
• Rotate product racks in and out of zero freezers.
• Keep product organized in the blast freezer area.
• Assist with all blast freezer department duties.
• Operate production machinery as directed.
• Use scanning guns to enter and withdraw product.
• Follow all food safety and production procedures.
