Job summary

TPI Composites, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Automation Specialist to monitor and maintain the BladeAssure system across our Iowa facilities.

You will work on mechanical automation equipment, robots, and motion‑control systems, ensuring safe, compliant operations on the shop floor. You will document processes, train production teams, support trials of new technologies, and drive standardization with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety, quality,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
Passion to work on mechanical automation equipment, robots, design of electromechanical/pneumatic systems, and motion controls.
Solid engineering background with hands‑on experience and high mechanical aptitude.
Understands autonomous system requirements, algorithms and operating environments.
Understands integration of equipment design into existing or new systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

Monitor the performance and ensure operation of the BladeAssure system.
Escalate issues and drive resolutions.
Create documentation for processes and verification (work instructions, PFMEA, inspection instructions).
Be an on‑the‑floor BladeAssure expert ensuring process/system compliance.
