Qualifications

• 1+ year of automated equipment design and implementation.
• 1+ year PLC Programming: ladder logic, structured text, function blocks.
• 1+ year Industrial Automation Protocols: EtherNet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet.
• 1+ year Electrical Engineering fundamentals: power distribution, motor control, safety.
• 1+ year Safety: ISO standards, OSHA requirements.
• 1+ year Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: diagnose control system issues.
• 1+ year Motion Control: servo/stepper motors and control.
• 1+ year Mechatronics: mechanical/electrical/control knowledge.
• 1+ year Robotics Fundamentals: kinematics/dynamics and programming.
• 1+ year Machine Vision: camera selection and image processing.
• 1+ year Project Management: budgeting, scheduling, risk mitigation.
• 1+ year SCADA/HMI Development: design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Create original detailed designs of unusual and complex machinery using engineering software with limited direction from leadership.
• Technical editing of machinery manuals and operating procedures.
• Assist in BOM creation, vendor selection, quotes, purchase requests, and inspecting components.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery in operation.
• Edit standards for machine design, programming, and documentation.
