Job summary

Edgewell Personal Care is seeking a Production Operator for Blade Finishing on the day shift (7:30am-7:30pm) in Knoxville, TN. This full-time, project-based role supports blade production and machine maintenance as part of a relocating plant.

Relocation end date is expected by December 2027 with competitive pay, benefits, and vacation. The operator will run and service Blade Welder Assembly machines, load materials, ensure quality checks, and keep accurate records while maintaining a clean work

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with high-speed machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret instruments and gauges.
• Ability to perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair and maintain Blade Welder Assembly machines to meet planned rate.
• Set up, adjust, repair, operate, and maintain a cell of multiple work stations.
• Load and unload coils and blades; manage scrap as needed.
• Check product quality and record data; replace and adjust tools as necessary.
• Maintain records and keep work area clean.
• Provide temporary relief for other operator-adjusters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
