Your role and responsibilities

What You’ll Do

This role is for a BlackLine Finance Transformation Lead responsible for delivering implementation services across TruQua and IBM sectors within North America. The individual will lead project teams, contribute as an individual, develop proposals, ensure quality delivery, provide thought leadership, maintain team utilization, and grow our TruQua BlackLine practice. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of BlackLine Finance Transformation modules, business processes, navigation, configuration, and integration with other modules. Additionally, they will advise client executives on the strategic benefits of BlackLine within broader Finance Transformation initiatives.

Sales and Delivery

You will support sales efforts at key accounts by assisting with scoping, solutioning, program planning, and RFP processes related to BlackLine and Finance Transformation. This includes writing proposals, shaping solutions, and presenting at client Orals. You will also serve as a techno-functional SME for ongoing BlackLine programs and help initiate new projects.

The BlackLine Finance Transformation Lead should have professional leadership experience in service-oriented businesses, emphasizing quality and customer responsiveness. They should draw from hands-on experience to grow our TruQua BlackLine practice.

This role is remote and can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Proven experience managing complex BlackLine or Finance Transformation projects, especially with the latest tools and technologies in SAP or BlackLine.
• Product expertise and hands-on experience with BlackLine modules such as Recs, Tasks, Matching, Journals, and Reporting.
• Deep knowledge of SAP ERP, FI-CO, and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Demonstrated leadership, client management, and delivery skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, with strong listening abilities.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with Smart Close, Intercompany Hub, Variance, and Compliance modules is a plus.
• Knowledge of BlackLine complementary tools like SAP products, HFM, Adaptive, Host, Tableau.
• Interest in upcoming BlackLine module updates and eagerness to learn and grow expertise in relevant financial technologies.
