Your role and responsibilities

What You’ll Do

This role is for a BlackLine Finance Transformation Lead, responsible for delivering implementation services across TruQua and IBM sectors in North America. The individual will lead project teams, contribute as an individual contributor, develop proposals, ensure quality delivery, provide thought leadership, optimize team utilization, and grow our TruQua BlackLine practice. The candidate should be highly knowledgeable about BlackLine product modules, business processes, navigation, configuration, and integration with other modules. They will also advise client executives on leveraging BlackLine as a strategic asset in broader Finance Transformation initiatives.

Sales and Delivery

You will support sales efforts by assisting with scoping, solutioning, program planning, and RFP processes related to BlackLine and Finance Transformation. This includes shaping proposals, presenting at Orals, and supporting delivery teams as a techno-functional SME for ongoing BlackLine projects. You will also help initiate and plan new projects.

The BlackLine Finance Transformation Lead should have professional leadership experience, emphasizing service quality and customer responsiveness. Drawing from hands-on experience, they will help grow our TruQua BlackLine practice.

This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the US.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Proven success in managing complex BlackLine or Finance Transformation projects, especially with the latest tools and technologies in SAP or BlackLine.
• Product expertise and hands-on experience with BlackLine modules such as Recs, Tasks, Matching, Journals, and Reporting.
• Deep knowledge of SAP ERP, FI-CO, and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Demonstrated leadership, client management, and delivery skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, with strong listening abilities.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with Smart Close, Intercompany Hub, Variance, and Compliance modules.
• Knowledge of BlackLine complementary tools like SAP products, HFM, Adaptive, Host, Tableau.
• Interest in upcoming BlackLine module updates and eagerness to learn and grow expertise in relevant financial technologies.
