Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Six Sigma Black Belt to lead major process and profit-improvement initiatives. You will drive Six Sigma projects, provide coaching on methodologies, and present status updates to leadership while ensuring sustainment of improvements across the organization.

Ideal candidates possess a Green Belt or higher, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelor’s in business or engineering. Travel up to 40% is required, with a valid driver’s license and MS Office proficiency essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, including overnight stays
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
  • Greenbelt certification or equivalent
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Lead Six Sigma projects to achieve measurable bottom-line results
  • Sell ideas and deliver status presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Train, coach and mentor Green Belts and team members on Six Sigma methodologies
  • Act as liaison between Corporate and field locations
  • Plan and execute process and profit-improvement initiatives
  • Ensure sustainment of improvements at project completion

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Six Sigma Black Belt to lead major process and profit-improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include performing technical and leadership roles to complete Six Sigma projects on time, achieve measurable bottom-line results and ensure that process owners are given the tools and guidance needed to fully sustain the improvements at project completion; understanding current processes and identifying value-improvement initiatives; executing strategic profit improvement efforts; selling ideas and delivering important status presentations to all levels of the organization; leading and working effectively in diverse teams; training, coaching and mentoring Green Belts and team members on successful application of Six Sigma Methodology; acting as the liaison between Corporate and our field locations; performing additional responsibilities as needed.
