Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA is seeking a Design and Release Engineer (DRE) – BIW Upperbody Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI to lead the design, development and production release of BIW upperbody components.

You will coordinate with CAE, Safety, NVH, Powertrain and Interior teams to ensure structural integrity, crash performance and proper clearance, while maintaining SOPs and DFMEAs to drive cost, weight and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• BIW upperbody design and development experience.
• Collaborate with CAE, Safety, NVH, Powertrain and Interior teams.
• Familiar with DFMEAs and SOPs for process-driven improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design & Concept Feasibility: Lead CAD concepts and solutions for upperbody structural components.
• Program Milestones & Release: Manage upperbody components through CAD milestones and system requirement releases.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with CAE, Safety, NVH, Powertrain, and Interior teams for structural integrity and clearance.
• Quality & Performance: Maintain SOPs, DFMEAs, and DVP&Rs; drive cost, weight, and quality improvements.
