Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Knowledge of automotive body structures and BIW components is required.
• Familiarity with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
• Understanding of drawings, GD&T and product development processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams; automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and release of BIW body structure components.
• Review and update 3D models, drawings, and technical specs.
• Assist with engineering changes, design reviews and documentation updates.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, vehicle integration, and suppliers.
• Support prototype builds, validation and testing activities.
• Address design-related issues during development and production.
• Ensure components meet dimensional, structural, safety and manufacturing requirements.
• Drive development activities from initial design to production launch.
