Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BIW upperbody/underbody design and release.
• Experience with prototype, validation, launch, and production activities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination.
• Solid understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R and engineering release processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIW upper body and underbody development from concept through production release.
• Perform packaging studies, CAD updates, and engineering change implementation.
• Support template application, system requirement integration, and design theme execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve design, manufacturing, assembly, and vehicle integration issues.
• Drive cost reduction, weight optimization, quality improvements, and engineering efficiency initiatives.
• Manage engineering deliverables, release documentation, issue resolution, and milestone tracking.
• Participate in technical reviews and provide status updates to management and program leadership.
• Collaborate with North America teams during vehicle development, validation, launch, and production phases.
• Maintain engineering standards, SOPs for BIW development activities.
