• Two years of college in civil engineering technology or related field plus five years of engineering experience.
• Or seven years of engineering experience.
• Completion of HMA and PCC QC/QA Level II Courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials tested, inspected, and shipped meet specifications.
• Distribute inspection reports and enter data for materials shipped.
• Maintain professional relationships with producers, suppliers, officials and others in the process.
• Provide advice and assistance to producers and suppliers on request.
• Perform nuclear density tests on bases, shoulders, pavements, earthwork, and aggregate base course.
• Perform and supervise HMA and PCC QA/QC testing.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and promote fair treatment of staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
