Job summary

HOP GLOBAL SERVICE INC is seeking a Bitcoin Mining Operations Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on mining hardware and software. The role supports efficient, compliant, and secure mining operations, with focus on uptime and profitability.

Ideal candidates have a CS-related degree, 2+ years IT experience, and strong problem-solving, communication, and independent work skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS or related field.
Minimum 2 years IT experience.
Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and best practices.
Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform regular inspections and maintenance on mining hardware to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues with mining hardware and software.
Maintain and update mining software to ensure optimal efficiency and security.
Work with other team members to develop and implement strategies for minimizing downtime.
Monitor mining operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Ensure proper cooling and ventilation systems are in place to prevent hardware damage or failure.
Maintain accurate records of mining performance and profitability.
Assist with the installation and setup of new mining hardware and software.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
