MDS Staffing in Carroll, Iowa seeks a Bitcoin Mining Facility Manager to lead daily operations of a cryptocurrency mining facility. The role manages a team of site technicians, oversees uptime, safety, and compliance, and collaborates with external partners to maximize hash rate and reliability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mining infrastructure knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate schedules, perform diagnostics, and maintain fleet-wide software and hardware

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical operations role with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Experience in data center or mining facility environments with high uptime.
• Familiarity with ASIC miners and mining software such as Foreman/LuxOS.
• Knowledge of networking, electrical systems, and cooling infrastructure.
• Electrical experience or relevant certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of site technicians, setting performance expectations.
• Coordinate daily work schedules to ensure uptime and coverage.
• Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and training.
• Oversee monitoring and maintenance of mining hardware for peak performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mining equipment including power and boards.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for hardware and facility systems.
• Manage miner configuration and firmware updates via Foreman and LuxOS.
• Maintain software-hardware integration and resolve escalated issues.
• Keep accurate operation logs, incidents, and performance records.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA guidelines, PPE, and electrical safety.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Serve as on-site contact for inspections and audits.
