Shaner Hotels in Baltimore is hiring a Bistro Team Member for the Courtyard Baltimore McHenry Row. This full-time/part-time role supports both Front of House and Back of House operations, offering a versatile, hands-on position with learning opportunities across hotel food and beverage services.

You will welcome guests, take orders, prepare items, operate POS, maintain cleanliness, and assist with opening/closing duties.

Qualificações

• Previous restaurant, hotel, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cooking or kitchen experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with the position.
• Must be willing to cross-train and work in both Front of House and Back of House functions.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take and accurately process food and beverage orders.
• Prepare and serve Bistro menu items, beverages, coffee, and other offerings.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked Bistro and service area.
• Answer guest questions regarding menu items and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Ensure food and beverage orders are prepared and delivered accurately and timely.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stocking.
• Prepare menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures.
