Story Land in New Hampshire is seeking a Bistro Food Service Attendant to join the Food & Beverage team. You will work in one of our in-park locations, delivering friendly customer service while handling food preparation and service tasks.

No formal education is required; prior culinary work is a plus. Candidates must obtain a Food Handler Safety Certification within 90 days where required by state guidelines. 16+ and flexible scheduling are expected.

Qualifications

• No education requirements for this role
• 1+ year of previous culinary work experience at a food service or restaurant preferred but not required
• Must become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire, when required by state and local guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with questions, and manage accurate transactions to provide an engaging customer experience
• Perform opening and closing procedures related to the assigned Food & Beverage location and as directed by team leads and shift supervisors
• Set up and breakdown of workstation
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work area
• Prepare food following proper procedure and safety guidelines using fryers, grills and other professional kitchen equipment
• Follow all proper Personnel Protective Equipment guidelines when working around food preparation equipment
• Provide excellent customer service and handle transactions including credit and refunds
