Belmont Village Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a friendly Bistro Attendant to assist residents in our on-site Bistro with efficient, courteous service. You will help ensure cleanliness and high standards of hospitality while supporting a fast-paced, active environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, empathetic, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a professional appearance. Full-time opportunities with strong benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or in progress.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Minimum of 6 months Server or Barista experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist Bistro Cook with preparation of high-quality, fresh food efficiently and courteously.
• Greet guests, respond to requests, and accommodate special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Prepare the Bistro for service; maintain flatware, condiments and beverages in readiness.
• Encourage guests to enjoy meals, snacks and beverages in the Bistro.
• Maintain a professional image through appearance and interactions with guests.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and adequate supply throughout the day.
• Monitor Bistro supplies and stock levels.
• Assist with kitchen and restaurant tasks including setup, service and cleanup as needed.
• Adhere to health regulations and sanitation standards.
• Prioritize hospitality, customer service and resident satisfaction in every interaction.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Assists Bistro Cook with preparation of high-quality, fresh food efficiently and courteously
• Promotes a high standard of guest satisfaction through excellent hospitality by greeting guests, responding to requests efficiently, and accommodating special requests as needed
• Prepares the Bistro for service maintaining all flatware, condiments and beverages in a constant state of readiness
• Encourage and invites guests to enjoy meals, snacks and beverages in the Bistro
• Maintains a professional image at all times through appropriate appearance, dress and interactions with guests
• Ensure food quality, freshness and adequate supply throughout the day
• Monitors and maintains Bistro supplies and stock levels
• Assist with kitchen and restaurant tasks including setup, service and cleanup as needed
• Adhere to health department regulations and company sanitation standards
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Minimum of 6 months Server or Barista experience preferred
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
• All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.
