Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Bistro Cook to prepare, cook and serve high-quality meals in our on-site Bistro. This role emphasizes hospitality as residents enjoy freshly prepared foods and beverages in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, communicates effectively in English, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Experience as a Line Cook and a strong team mindset are highly valued, with opportunities to grow within Belmont Village.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in banquet, catering, café, or bistro.
• Basic culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees.
• All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Bistro Cook at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will perform multi-functional duties related to food preparation, set-up, service and clean‑up in our senior living community on site Bistro. The Bistro Cook is a highly visible, guest engaged role offering efficient and courteous service to our residents as they enjoy freshly prepared meals and beverages in our Bistro. The ideal Bistro Cook candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. As a Bistro Cook you excel in a fast-paced, active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
