Job summary

Kolter Hospitality Bistro Attendant role in Delray Beach is to deliver service excellence to our guests in a welcoming environment. You will take orders, present menus, relay orders to the kitchen, and ensure timely service while maintaining a clean, organized dining area.

This position requires strong customer service skills, reliability to work weekends, and adherence to health and safety standards. Training includes cash handling procedures and beverage service in a fast-paced hotel setting.

• Greet guests and take food and drink orders.
• Present menus and make recommendations regarding food and service.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services.
• Process all orders using Micros and collect payment from customers.
• Prepare ingredients for service as needed and maintain clean, organized workstation.
• Assist in set-up, cleaning, and refreshing of function rooms; bus and reset tables.
• Count the bank at end of shifts and follow cash handling procedures.

Overview: A Kolter Hospitality Bistro Attendant delivers service excellence to our guests and creates a welcoming, comfortable environment. This position is responsible for taking orders, preparing and delivering items, following accurate cash handling procedures, organizing and maintaining a clean service area, cleaning tables and area, and following all health and alcohol laws.______________________________________________________________________________Performance Expectations:Greet guests and ensure prompt requests for food and drink orders.Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services.Observe guests to fulfill any additional requests and to perceive when meal portions have been completed.Maintain a clean work and storage area.Assist in the set-up, cleaning, and refreshing of the function rooms.Process all orders using Micros and collect payment from customersPrepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests (room service delivery).Perform general cleaning and maintenance of Food and Beverage prep areas.Count the bank at end of shifts, and follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.Perform all side work at the end of shift including rolling silverware, stocking, and other duties as assigned.Report any items in need of repair.Follow all safety procedures while working.Behavioral Expectations:Be effective and innovative in handling and solving problems in the workplace.Remain positive and helpful while working in a fast-paced environment.Committed to the success and growth of the company.Act honorably, even when no one is watching.Eagerness to grow and/or develop within the companyPassionately provide personalized guest serviceGeneral Requirements:Able to work weekendsReport to work on time and in proper uniform.Experience: None.
