Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a friendly Bistro Attendant to be the face of our hotel restaurant. You will deliver outstanding customer service, take orders, and help create a welcoming dining experience for guests.

The role requires a keen eye for detail, reliable teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth within the Waterford Hotel Group.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and connect with each customer, discover needs and make genuine recommendations.
• Answer questions about food, beverages and hotel services.
• Take orders and enter them in the POS system.
• Prepare coffee barista drinks and Turbo Chef items as directed.
• Perform opening/closing duties and running side work as required.
• Keep the work and service area clean and organized.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with beverage, food and service; respond promptly to requests.
• Prepare final bill and process payment including credit card charges.
• Support team by helping colleagues as situations arise.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth Bistro operations under supervision.

Bistro Attendant Overview:

We are looking for an outgoing, food passionate individual to be the face of our hotel restaurant. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while allowing our guests a special dining experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and connects with every customer. Discover customer's needs and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant or Hotel functions and services
• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system.
• Prepare coffee barista drinks, specialty drinks and food orders utilizing Turbo Chef
• Perform running side work and opening & closing duties throughout your shift as required by service station assignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and service area.
• Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable)
• Teamwork -- Offer or ask for help to your fellow team members as situations arise.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bistro as directed by the immediate supervisor.
