*biscuits & bird will close every day at 3pm. **THERE ARE NO EVENING SHIFTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION!**Job Purpose Statement:*The Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through the preparation of high-quality beverages and food items in a clean, fast-paced restaurant environment. This position upholds Biscuits & Bird’s standards for hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence while embodying the values of Boddie-Noell Enterprises and the Hardee’s brand.*Essential Job Functions** Prepare hot and cold beverages such as espresso, coffee, and tea. Follow precise recipes and adhere to presentation guidelines to ensure quality and consistency.* Monitor and maintain all beverage-making equipment, report issues, and ensure all machinery functions efficiently and safely.* Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all guests.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and guest areas.* Execute cleaning schedules. Sanitize equipment, tools, and workstations continuously to meet safety and cleanliness standards.* Restock ingredients and supplies behind the counter and manage inventory to prevent shortages or waste.* Accurately process guest orders and payments through the POS system.* Adhere strictly to health and food safety protocols throughout preparation, storage, and cleanup processes.* Support team members and management to achieve daily sales and service goals.* Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.* Maintain restaurant cleanliness throughout your shift, which may include dish washing, sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, and cleaning restrooms.*Key Attributes** Exceptional attention to detail to maintain consistency in product preparation and cleanliness.* Strong organization skills for effective workspace management.
