Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Birthing Center RN Per Diem to join our Magnet-designated hospital. You will contribute to a high-performing, compassionate maternity team in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes accurate assessment, timely administration of medications, strict adherence to Standards of Care, and meticulous documentation. Per diem shifts offer competitive base rates and shift differentials along with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• NRP certification Part I & II required.
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care
