Job summary

Boondocks Food & Fun in Draper, UT is hiring team members to host birthday parties and deliver friendly guest service in a fun, fast-paced environment. You will help with party setup, buffet duties, and ensuring guests feel welcome and happy.

Starting pay is $11.00 per hour plus tips DOE, with a flexible schedule and full-time benefits after 60 days. You’ll work evenings, weekends and holidays while building lifelong friendships with a great team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Must have a well-groomed and neat appearance.
• Must maintain good guest relations—outgoing and friendly.
• Must enjoy working in a team atmosphere.
• Must have patience with children.
• Must be able to work under pressure amid distractions.
• Must be able to communicate with staff and guests clearly.
• Must be on your feet for long periods and available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Host birthday parties for children, including setup, cleanup, and attending the party.
• Deliver excellent guest service to exceed guests' expectations.
• Prepare the event room for the event.
• Set up, maintain, and replenish buffet lines.
• Serve guests and perform post-event cleanup.
• Communicate with guests clearly and enthusiastically.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.
• Handle dishware and kitchen transfers during cleanup.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing tasks as required by shift.
