Job summary

Boondocks Food & Fun in Draper, UT seeks a bartender to join our team. Sunday availability is required to ensure guest satisfaction across the bars, restaurant, and bowling lanes.

You will prepare cocktails and manage beverage service, maintain cleanliness, and assist with opening and closing procedures. Strong guest relations and teamwork are essential for success in our fast-paced, fun environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Service experience as a bartender is required.
• Proficient with POS systems, cash registers and card verification equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing the best experience at the bars, restaurant, and bowling lanes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation at bar areas and dining spaces.
• Deliver food to guests at bars, restaurant, and lanes.
• Prepare cocktails, wine, and beer orders for bar guests and waitstaff.
• Check IDs to verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Keep bar stocked and clean.
• Track guests' behavior and sales.
• Maintain drink recipe documentation.
• Perform opening, mid-day, and closing procedures.
• Bus tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dining & Events Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing the best experience at the bars, in the restaurant, and at the bowling lanes
• Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and sanitation at bar areas, in the restaurant, and at the bowling lanes
• Deliver food to guests in the bar, in the restaurant, and at the bowling lanes
• Prepare cocktails, wine, and beer orders for bar guests and waitstaff orders
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
• Ensure bar is well stocked and clean
• Track guests' behavior and sales
• Maintain drink recipe documentation
• Perform all applicable opening, mid-day, and/or closing procedures
• Bus tables
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dining & Events Manager

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Service experience as a bartender
• Ability to operate computer, cash register, and credit card verification equipment
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
• Possess good guest relations abilities, outgoing and friendly manner, courteous and cooperative attitude, team oriented
• Well groomed and neat appearance
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability mandatory for consideration of employment
• Sips and Tips certified
