Job summary

Boondocks Food & Fun in Draper, UT is seeking a bartender to join our fast-paced, family-friendly team. Sunday availability is required, and you will serve at bars, the restaurant, and bowling lanes, delivering great guest experiences.

You will maintain cleanliness, stock, prepare cocktails, verify ages, and help with opening/closing procedures. The role rewards customer relations, teamwork, and a competitive hourly wage with benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Bartender experience required.
• Service experience as a bartender.
• Ability to operate computer, cash register, and credit card verification equipment.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions.
• Well groomed and neat appearance.
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability mandatory for employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing the best experience at the bars, in the restaurant, and at the bowling lanes
• Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and sanitation at bar areas, in the restaurant, and at the bowling lanes
• Deliver food to guests in the bar, in the restaurant, and at the bowling lanes
• Prepare cocktails, wine, and beer orders for bar guests and waitstaff orders
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
• Ensure bar is well stocked and clean
• Track guests' behavior and sales
• Maintain drink recipe documentation
• Perform all applicable opening, mid-day, and/or closing procedures
• Bus tables
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dining & Events Manager

• Possess good guest relations abilities, outgoing and friendly manner, courteous and cooperative attitude, team oriented
• Well groomed and neat appearance
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability mandatory for consideration of employment
• Sips and Tips certified
