Job summary

City of Edina is hiring a Birthday Party Coordinator for Edinborough Park and the Edina Aquatic Center. You will manage bookings from start to finish, coordinate packages, food, decor, and facility rules, and guide staff to deliver memorable celebrations.

Evening and weekend availability is required; you will train staff, handle guest communications, monitor reservations using CivicRec and POS systems, and work with the Assistant General Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Two years of customer service and POS experience in a high-volume setting.
• Experience in multi-department guest services environment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact and hospitality coordinator for parties from start to finish.
• Coordinate packages, food, beverage, decorations and facility rules.
• Train staff and ensure teams are prepared to execute procedures.
• Monitor reservations, changes, and billing using POS and booking software.
• Organize event materials and prepare accurate event paperwork.
• Collaborate with the GM to oversee inventory, purchasing and reporting.
• Onboard staff and provide directives for on-site events and check-ins.
• Assist with customer feedback programs and marketing initiatives.
