Town of Castle Rock Recreation Center is seeking a part-time staff member to support birthday parties and community programs at 2301 Woodlands Boulevard, Castle Rock, CO 80104. The role involves greeting guests, assisting with activities, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days), and a valid Colorado driver’s license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or can be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with leading and instructing activities such as swimming, games and sports.
• Inspects program facility and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment for patrons.
• Communicates with citizens and responds to inquiries and concerns.
• Ensures safety practices; administers First Aid and performs CPR if necessary.
• Greets and interacts with parents and guests.
• Shops for and purchases supplies, refreshments and equipment for birthday parties.
• Sets up birthday party room and posts directional signs for guests.
