Job summary

The State of North Carolina, Department of Health and Human Services, invites applications for an Early Intervention Service Coordinator (S) in the New Bern area. This role supports infants and toddlers in the NC Infant-Toddler Program, helping families access services and implement IFSPs through home visits and team collaboration.

As part of the NC Division of Child and Family Well-Being, you will work with a six-county catchment to coordinate supports, including speech and physical therapy,

Qualifications

• Experience with children birth to age 3 and their families.
• Experience collaborating with families and other professionals.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for young children and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional IFSPs with families and team members.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to determine supports needed.
• Conduct home visits and coordinate services like speech and PT.
• Arrange and monitor early intervention services.
• Plan transitions to services at age three.
