Qualifications

• Ability to learn the history of the Ranch and current operations; present info engagingly.
• Experienced birder; able to identify birds on the King Ranch checklist.
• General knowledge of area wildlife and conservation practices.
• Courteous to visitors and staff in a Texas-friendly environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Follow grooming and dress guidelines as required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive tour vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

• Guide nature, birding and wildlife tours.
• Provide routine care of VPS vehicles, including cleaning, fuelling, tire and oil checks.
